“Bridging the Middle East and America Through Culture: Reza Aslan, Wajahat Ali + others”

Here’s an entertaining and informative panel we did at the CommonWealth Forum recently.

It features Reza Aslan, best-selling author Zoe Ferraris, Poet Najva Sol and myself.

Enjoy!

  1. Great panel discussion; appreciate perspectives so relevant to the reality of immigrant issues in America, and the religious/ethnic/cultural identities we all struggle with.

  2. I guess the brother of George W. Bush, Governor of Florida, John Ellis Bush would be the Republican Presidential Candidate in 2012 against Obama. First, Pappa Bush fought Iraq well but did not complete the job, then Junior Bush came and brought down the statue and hanged the man, but did not complete the crusade, I pray Junior Bush II comes along and completes it. It needs powerful Bush to tell Islamic countries what to do.

  3. Great discussion! This is the first time I heard about Zoe and Najva. I haven’t seen your play, but hope to. You and Reza spoke VERY well.
